Politics and kindergartens: I was watching a segment about the President and Obamacare on the news. But that's not the topic...
I believe in freedom of speech and I know that regardless who is president, they are always people who complain. I can control/monitor what my 5 year old sees on TV and the internet. (The news/media has gotten really violent and I only watch it while she's is at school.) But it really bothers me when adults say negative things about presidents (past and current) in front of children.
I want my child to continue being patriotic! She is not old enough to understand politics. She gets really excited when she sees the current president on TV and I want to keep it that way!
(I'm not upset or rilled up, just something I noticed.)
